Plank Desiccant Lid (BETA)

We have had several customers ask for a way to keep their Reef Jerky dryer so we made this lid. Please know, it has not been tested long-term, consider leaving feedback on the use of this product so we can decide if it will be in the permanent catalog or an added feature implemented in the next version of The Plank. 

Moisture can spoil Reef Jerky due to it being dehydrated and free of preservatives. To help those in ultra-high humid environments we are testing the development of a desiccant lid to absorb excess ambient humidity or moisture in and around the Reef Jerky.   

Plank lid with a slot for 5-gram silica gel desiccant packs. Comes with three color-indicating rechargeable desiccant packs (orange to green).

Recharge Care

OVEN  Recharge by placing in a 250F degree oven for 1 hour.
MICROWAVE  Using the DEFROST setting, defrost packets for 7-12 minutes. Start with the least amount of time and increase the time as needed  (i.e., color not fully returned to the original state).

 
* Reactivation varies depending on the saturation level of the beads, and the type of oven (convection or normal) and microwave wattage used.
